"Daydream Yourself A Better World" is a collection of tracks inspired by the grunge movement entirely written in April 2020.
The title and cover are both a nod to Pearl Jam's "Jeremy", released on their debut album "Ten", in 1991.

"Broken Chair" references Alice In Chains' "Angry Chair", released on their album "Dirt", in 1992.

"Bruised" refers to the line "the sky was bruised", in "Like A Stone".
"Friends And Liars" refers to the line "friends and liars don't wait for me", in "I Am The Highway".
Both tracks were released by Audioslave on their eponymous album, released in 2002.
